Privacy policy
Pleit (“we”) runs pleit.ca. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist, along with the date you joined and the consent you gave.
- Questions you type into the demo. We use them to pick meal suggestions and send them back to you. We don't link them to your email.
- Basic usage data, such as pages visited, device type and approximate location (city level), through Google Analytics. This helps us understand what's working.
How we use it
- To email you about Pleit's launch, early access and occasional product updates, only if you opted in.
- To run and improve the website and demo.
We never sell your information.
Who helps us
We use a few service providers to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting), HubSpot (waitlist and email) and Google Analytics (usage stats). They process data on our behalf and may store it outside Canada, including in the United States.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we'll remove you.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.
- You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept for the period set in Google Analytics.
